Yard Sale Season

I have been seeing some yard sales around here the past couple of weeks. So, I guess that I need to be getting my stuff ready to have one. I have so much stuff. I have a shed in the back yard full and a storage unit that needs cleaned out. I should make some good money. I want to have one soon , before it gets too hot here. I have no trees in my yard for shade AT ALL!

Having yards sales is a great way to make extra money and clean out your house. You just have to make sure that everything is priced and clean. I always just have the clothing by the bag. Like $2.00 a bag. I just get to lazy to price every single piece of clothing. Make sure that your yard is clean, also. Mow the yard.

I like to set up everything like a store. Have like things together. Like, for example , have all of the kids stuff in one place. Put housewares all together. and so on. This makes it easier for the buyers to see what you have and to be able to focus on what they are looking for.

The most important thing is to have fun with it. Maybe , have your kids set up a lemonade stand or sell cookies. Just have fun and your buyers will have fun and buy more. HOPEFULLY!!
