Tough Times

This has been a very trying time for my family. My husband got laid off 3 weeks ago (and he was our only full time income!)and was having trouble getting on unemployment because the trucking company he worked for was in a different state. So what little bit of savings we had has been whittled down to almost nothing while we wait for unemployment or another job.

So , I have been trying hard to get some work at home ideas going so I can make some money. I also have some applications in at local places for myself. (Someone has to work!) Unfortunately , though , we live in a very small town and the 2 factories here have either laid off a ton or one shut their doors completely! I have been doing some sewing and still am writing online. I also have cleaned out a few boxes from storage selling the stuff on ebay. I really think the ebay for right now has been the best thing. I must have the right stuff for sale right now because it all seems to be selling.

I am getting a whole shed full of stuff ready to have a yard sale. Pretty soon it will be warm enough to have one and I have enough stuff to be a huge one. I have not had a yard sale in a couple of years so I have a ton of stuff that I have been saving.

Hopefully our tough times will be over soon. I will be sharing some stuff on here on what we are doing to make money at home and hope that we will all learn from it all.
