According to Human Resources Development Canada’s National Occupation Classification, these careers may involve: mentoring, negotiating, instructing, consulting, supervising, persuading, speaking, serving, or assisting. Possible career choices include: teacher, human resources, flight attendant, life coach, daycare worker, personal shopper.

Possible career choices include: library assistant, editor, web developer, professional organizer, accountant, private investigator.
If you answered mostly C's, your ideal career probably involves working with things. Tasks you might do in these careers include setting up, precision working, controlling, driving, operating, tending, feeding, or handling. Possible career choices include: chef, repair person, carpenter, collectibles dealer, veterinary assistant, mechanic.
If you answered mostly D's, your ideal career is probably creative. Possible career choices include: Childrens Book Author ,Mystery Writer, writer, Romance Writer, photographer, Songwriter , singer, interior decorator, graphic artist, Jewelry Designer, fashion designer.
Of course there are many more careers to choose from, but knowing your preferred type can help you narrow down the choices.

It is Christmas eve!! It is time to be with family! It is time to give and receive gifts! It is time to eat a huge amount of food and feel bad about it. It is also time to be getting all of your paper work and book keeping done for the year. Is all of yours in order?? Do you have it all prepared and in order?? It is the time of year to be getting ready for your taxes and all of that fun stuff. This next couple of weeks is going to be so hectic and time consuming, but it needs to be done.

WAHM's Out Of Business On Feb . 10th!!

This is just so shocking and such a bad thing for our ever falling economy , but the CPSC is passing a new law that anyone who makes handmade toys, clothing, cloth diapers, etc for children under 12 will have to have the items tested for lead!! That is super expensive to do that testing so, of course WAHM's will be put out of business.
More great links and information can be found HERE

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!
In January - This blog will be 3 years old!! That is so cool! I cannot believe that I have actually kept something going for that long. I usually get bored of something very quickly and stop half way through. I love this blog and hope to keep writing on it. I have quite a few readers and really enjoy having a place to write my thoughts and ideas on how to really make money at home. I have tried to not post anything that is a scam or a get rich quick scheme. I wanted to be a place where mom's ( and dad's ) could come and find real things that they could do to actually work at home and start a real home based business. I have tried a lot of get rich quick schemes in my life and did not want to be a place that just was trying to scam people out of money. I just wanted to really help people to be able to make real money and get something started that would sustain them and help their family. I hope that you will stick around for more of my writing!!

Party Plans In Tough Economic Times??
How do you make sales with a home party plan, like Pampered Chef, when economic times are bad?? This is a question that I am wondering about myself because I joined a party plan company a few months ago, Fun Lovin Parties, and have not made too many sales in the last couple of months. So, what do we independent representatives do?? How do we make sales when people are worried about putting food on the table or should we just lay low for a while until the economy has a turn around?? I am seriously thinking of doing just that. Take a couple of months off from selling and doing home parties. Just sit back and relax and wait for people to be more confident and more apt to want to buy and have fun.
IF YOU ARE AN INDEPENDENT REP FOR A COMPANY WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING ON DOING AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO KEEP YOUR SALES GOING????

Being A Work At Home Mom Can be Hectic!
I know that I have been basically neglecting this blog. I have been so busy! So I guess being that this blog is about working at home that is good. Because that means that I am working at home!! I think that it is a good thing that I have been so busy with working that I have not had time to write on this blog. That was the whole point of this blog - to write about ways to become a work at home mom and to really work and make money. I have been sewing a ton of stuff and now currently have about 30 cloth diapers ready and waiting on velcro to be attached! My belt broke on my sewing machine for the hundredth time and I am waiting on a new one that i had to order from ebay. I currently have no car!! My husband had to drive our only vehicle to work this time and he is usually gone about 2 weeks at a time (he is a truck driver). The brakes are going out on our mini van so he drove it instead of having me drive it with kids in the car. Which is good, but now I have no car!!
I also have been busy writing for some of my other blogs. That is one of my work at home businesses - to make money blogging!! Which cannot be done unless you actually write on them. I try to focus on a couple of my blogs a day. That takes up a bunch of my time AND I have a 2 year old son in the house. Yes - he is in the midst of the terrible twos and I have to wait until he takes a nap or I have to get up super early to really be able to get anything done.
Life as a work at home mom is very hectic and trying at times. I would not change it for anything though!!
