Yesterday was a fun day! I did my very first Thursday 13 and loved it. You join in on the fun very easily by posting your list of 13 whatevers and then going to their thursday 13 hub and posting a comment for that thursday's 13. IN your comment you need to leave a link to your 13! Than just watch the traffic explode. I had 67 comments on my 13!! I also shared in the fun and went and visited other blogger's 13 list and saw some pretty amazing blogs! Wow! I am a little jealous of some of y'alls knowledge of doing templates. I will be doing the Thursday 13 for a long time! It was so much fun and I learned alot about other people. I had some time yesterday and even went ahead and wrote the next 4 thursday 13s that I will be posting!!
Now I am not stupid ,I know that out of all of those visits, probably some of them did not even read my blog. But out of the ones that did I hope that they will come back and visit everyday and I hope that I write stuff on here that keeps them coming all of the time.

Thursday Thirteen Newb Here - 13 reasons why I did not join earlier!

This is my very first Thursday 13!! I have been visiting the tHursday 13 blog for a while now and do not really know why I did not join in. But, here I am now!!
I guess that is what this needs to be about -
13 Reasons Why I did Not JOin Thursday 13 earlier :
2. I am 36 and had a baby a year ago and am too tired after chasing him around all of the time. I am not in my youthful shape anymore!! ( really I lost that A LONG time ago!!)
3. I have 2 teenagers that I had to carpool around. Just recently we moved into town and now they can walk to some places. Yipee!! My life as an unpaid taxi driver is over!!!
4. My husband had took some time off of work and I was not able to get online for long periods of time. Now he is back to work and so am I!!
5. My television shows were all in season! Now I am silently waiting for all of the new seasons to start back up.
6. It was summertime and the kids were out of school! They went back a couple of weeks ago so I now have control of the computer again!
7. Did I mention that I was too busy!
8. I also kept forgetting! I have memory lapses somtimes, I think it comes with motherhood. Anyway everytime that I said I was going to do Thursday 13 , I would forget!
9. I just started this blog in January of this year!
10. It takes alot of time to blog! It practically consumed my days in the beginning. If I was not on the blog writing, I was always on the lookout for new things to post on it. Now I have gotten into a rythum with it and can pretty much get it all done in a shorter amount of time.
11. At our old house we had a much bigger yard to take care of. Now we have a teeny tiny yard that we can do in less than an hour.
12. I had some really good books to read and not too much time for it. Now that my kids are back in school I have more time. You would think that with them being teenagers that the summer would have been easy!! Hell no! MY 14 year old son takes more time than my 1 year old son. Always having to get him something to drink or eat. My daughter was also a hassle this summer always talking about senior year and getting ready for college!! Lets just say the days are alot quieter with them back in school.
13. I was not too sure of what I had to do to join. But I guess I just post this and then go back to the Thursday 13 blog and post that I have gotten my 13 up!! Yummo!

Blogging for Links
I found this article and wanted to share it with my readers.
Blogging is a great way to get quality back links. It's simple, well recognized, and quick.
In order to implement a successful blog linking campaign, you must first understand a few blogging rules. Once you understand these rules, it's just a matter of gathering your content and posting to your blog.
If the content you write in your blog is relevant, informative, and helpful, your chance of getting back links rises considerably.
Four Important Blogging Rules
Write your blog posts just like you would any other article. The temptation is to stuff your keywords in your posts and overdo it. Google is looking for quality sites maintained by real people. Blogs have been abused so much in the past that it's a very important you post your own content that you've created. I don't recommend using free content that's so widely available or even private label content.
You need to offer something of value to anyone who visits your site. Remember that you're the expert on your topic. Not everyone knows what you know about shoes, landscaping, or whatever else you're writing about. A good technique is to review other products or websites and offer something of value that can help someone in a pre-purchase decision. I also don't recommend putting RSS feeds in your posts since this is a common technique that blog spammers have used in the past.
You need to make your blog unique. Give somebody visiting for the first time a reason to come back. Make sure you have a way for readers to subscribe to your content. This is usually done with an RSS reader button somewhere on your page. This is also a great place to put an opt in newsletter box where people can sign up and get free articles or free e-books.
Whatever you do, don't neglect your blog. If you keep your blog updated and offer new posts on a semi regular basis, you will increase your back links and visitors to your site. The worst thing you can do is start strong and simply let your blog die out. We've all seen the blogs with 4 or 5 consecutive posts on successive days only to have ZERO posts the last few months, or years! This can actually hurt you in the long run. If visitors see that you can't maintain your own blog, they might assume that you can't provide a good product or service. So make sure once you start your blog that you continue to maintain it.
Getting Links
Getting back links from a blog is a natural process. You can put links from your blog to your own website. Make sure you don't put links that only point to your website. Add resources, information, and other directories and sites where people can go to if they come to your website.
The natural progression is that somebody will visit your blog read your article and hopefully click a link to go your website. Or even better, someone will like your post and link to your post or link directly to your website. The benefit to blogs is that your posts will be syndicated to other sites and directories almost immediately. While syndication is a benefit, it also means your content will become stale faster.
Be very careful about what types of information you're writing about on your blog. If you're doing a review, don't use an affiliate link to another site. Using affiliate links is the fastest way to discredit your blog. If you do any linking at all, link directly to the site you're reviewing or referencing. Don't lose credibility for the sake of a few extra bucks.
It's also okay to put a resource box at the end of each post. Just make sure you're not trying to sell anything or offer "special deals". People want to know they're getting high quality information with no strings attached. Let your information speak for itself and if someone is still interested they will naturally follow your link.
Blogging is a simple and highly effective way to get back links
Blogging can get you the back links that you desire if done correctly. It's easy, doesn't take a lot of time, and will help you in your ongoing linking strategies.
If you are at all interested in using this technique, you can sign up with blogger.com today. You don't have to have your own domain name or even your own web host. That's why it's so important to add blogging to your linking toolkit. It's just too easy.
Blogging, along with article and directory submissions, is a powerful combination that will help you get ranked well for your search terms in all the major search engines. Use liberally.
LinkAcquire builds one way links for better search results.

Eat Healthy While Blogging!!!!!
I sometimes notice that when I am blogging the day just seems to pass by quickly and before I realize it my stomach is telling me that I have been online much too long!! Blogging and working at home takes up so much of my time during the day I have had to try to find ways for me to eat healthy while I am doing it. I try to keep healthy snacks around ,like carrots (and other raw veggies, but carrots are my fave), nuts, fruit, and so on. If you try to get some healthy snacks in while you are working at home and writing than you should not have any problems. I had noticed that because I was not eating right while working that I would either overeat at dinner or get filled up with bad snacks like chips or cookies. BAD!! So instead of grabbing a bag of chips while working, go and grab a banana or a hand full of almonds! Much better for you and they also give you a little bit of a energy boost.

You Need A Break

Even when you are a work at home mom or dad you sometimes need a break from your work. I have found the funniest website!! Coke zero has a website where make your own movies! You go there and pick a scene and then you can put in any words that you want to make them say!! After your movie is made it is then added to the others and your movies competes to be the highest rated. It is so much fun and is a great way to break the day up when you are swamped with work. So get on over to Coke zero and get a good laugh.

How To Get Comments On Your Blog!
I have been blogging on this blog since January and have been wondering why I do not get a lot of comments. I have actually been kind of depressed about it. Anyway I guess when you create a blog you have to look over everything in the settings link of Blogger!! LOL.
My daughter has several blogs and she just happened to be working on one of them and redoing it. I was sitting by her and we were just gabbing aways about random stuff and I noticed her going to this place in her settings labeled Comments. She scrolled down and made it say Anyone!! A lightbulb went off in my head and I was like oh my. IT IS MY FAULT NOONE IS COMMENTING!! So I went to my blog settings and sure enough it was set for only registered members to post. Needless to say it is now set for anyone to being able to post! All of you great readers can post a comment. How cool is that??
Yummo!!!

A Fun Way to Make Money on the Weekends
Looking for a way to make some extra money, meet lots of interesting people or maybe looking for a way to launch your new business? Perhaps your goal is just to work on a part-time basis two or three days out of a week. Consider a swap meet, flea market, or craft show. These opportunities are loads of fun attracting lots of bargain shoppers who are willing to support you. Every city has them. It’s only a matter of locating them. I guarantee you that you will not have to look long or hard before you are able to find several within a short distance from your home. Chances are you probably have been to a flea market or swap meet. Have you never considered that this would be something you could do and enjoy? There are several opportunities to pursue.
Types of Vendor Opportunities:
Outdoor Swap Meets/Flea Markets-These usually have large variety of merchandise. Here you can find high end items like TV’s and appliances to small items like fashion jewelry. You may also find used merchandise. People who attend these are usually are looking for big discounts.
Indoor Malls-These attract the more professional class and savvy shopper. The displays are more organized in appearance. You will see booths and each vendor will more than likely specialize in a line of product.
Craft Fairs-These maybe held inside or outside. You’ll find them in parking lots, schools, churches, parks, etc. Sometimes they are fundraisers. Merchandise will range from homemade to high ticket items.
Benefits
Fun way to make extra money on weekends.
Meet lots of interesting people.
Can be a great launching pad for your business.
Simple Steps to Getting Started
Check out local newspapers, magazines, word of mouth.
Make contact with the group or organization.
Reserve a table or booth-a fee may be involved.
Get a list of rules and regulations and become familiar with them.
Select your merchandise.
Supplies
One folding table
A cash box, with small bills and change
A clean tablecloth
A calculator
Your price list
An order book to write receipts
Plenty of business cards
The Big Day Arrives
You want to be prepared when the day arrives. If you have done your homework ahead of time the day will go rather smoothly without encountering too many problems. Here are some things you will want to accomplish.
Find your space and set up.
Decide on your bottom line price. This would be your lowest price you would be willing to take.
Be prepared to take checks.
Record the name, address, and phone number of customers
It is always a good idea to take someone with you to handle the cashbox while you deal with the sales.
Rehearse your set up at home. Set up your display and plan the most attractive arrangement before the show.
While you are counting your money reorder merchandise especially those items that have sold well, build your mailing list and send out follow-ups and thank yous. The main thing that I want to get across is while this is work, also have a good time. Enjoy the interesting people you meet. Once you establish your customer base, they will become your repeat customers.
My name is Marjorie Malone. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and over the years I have been involved in many MLM networks. I enjoy people and selling quality products and services. I am currently the founder and owner of an e-commerce speciality store called Blue Angel Boutique. You will find a variety of products and services to meet your gift buying needs. Blogging For Money??
I know there are a thousand of blogs out there that are trying to tell others how to blog for money, but I wonder if THEY are actually making money?? I think what everyone needs to understand ~~ is that if you make a blog about anything you need to have great content and then you will make money. No matter what you blog about if you can get people to visit and keep returning ,than eventually you will start making money. I started this blog thinking that I could make money just from it. I soon realized that I could only make any real money if I had more than one blog and each of them about something else. This is a hard game to get into. There are just too many people out there who think that they are going to get rich with blogging. I try to post on here many different ways to make money at home. There are so many ways to make money at home besides blogging. If you look back through my archives on this blog you will find thousands of ways to make money. Most of them are free to start or are VERY low cost.
If you are wanting to start a blog of your own , just make sure you start a blog that is about something that you know a ton about and have a real passion for. Because blogging is a lot of work and you will need to be able to get up every day and be able to write about it. If it is not something that you have a passion for than your blog will suffer.
You blog WILL make money, how much money is up to you!! If you make it a content rich blog and really give your readers something to sink their teeth into than you will be well on your way to your piece of the blogging riches that everyone is trying to snatch.

Blog Tips for SEO
Blogs are the current rage, and many webmasters have blogs but fail to use their blog to it's full potential. Blogs provide a steady stream of fresh content, and if this content is written and managed properly, blogs have the ability to increase a website's ranking in the search engines.
1. Host Your Own Blog
In order to prosper from a blog, be sure to host it on your own domain. Hosting the blog on your own server will maximize the links to your website. Link popularity is one of the factors search engines use to rank websites. Resist the urge to use free hosting services, do not give away your link popularity!
2. RSS Feeds
All blogs should have an RSS feed. An RSS feed will allow for your blog posts to be easily syndicated. The syndication will result in links back to your blog from RSS directories or others who display the feed. Blog entries should be available via an RSS feed. Website visitors who subscribe to the feed will receive notification when new blog posts are added. If the title is of interest, they will click through to your website. This gives subscribers an easy way to know when a blog has been updated.
3. Use White Space
Be sure to make your content scannable. Few website visitors actually read blog posts; most web visitors simply scan a blog entry to determine its relevance or point. With that in mind, the blog posts should be displayed in short paragraphs. Overly long posts should be segmented into concise paragraphs or broken into bulleted lists to make scanning easier. Avoid the urge to "clutter" the post.
4. Titles Matter
You only have seconds to grab the attention of scanners browsing your blog. Use keywords and catchy titles to draw readers in. Blog post titles can be bolded for emphasis and white space should be used to buffer the content.
5. Grammar Matters
You will be judged by your knowledge and use of the English language. Search engines will make note of blog entries that lack proper punctuation or capitalization. If a blog post does not respect the rules of grammar and punctuation, it is possible search engines will make the assumption that a bot cobbled together the posts leading to a potential ban.
6. Legibility
As with any web design select fonts carefully, do not use micro or macro-fonts. Colors should be web safe, making it easy to discern and read. The background and background color should not obscure the text.
7. Navigate
Give readers somewhere to go, include links to additional information resources or extended information in the blog post. Including links in the actual blog post will ensure back links should the RSS feed be syndicated.
8. Communicate
If you create a post about someone, let them know, they might surprise you and link back or they might blog about your blog post, essentially creating a virtual dialogue. This is an easy way to build link popularity. Be warned however, simply mentioning a popular blogger on a blog will rarely result in a link back, the content of the blog post must "grab" their interest.
9. Incorporate SEO
Blog posts should be written as you would write a web copy. Posts should be natural and make sense while still incorporating keywords and keyword phrases that relate to the content.
10. Speed Matters
Web pages that are slow to load will frustrate users, be sure to use reliable web hosting. Compress graphics to maximize load time.
Use your blog to help your website attract traffic. Attention to search engine optimization details could mean the difference between popular and unpopular.

Work at Home Moms (WAHM's) and Podcasting
The biggest challenge for any work-at-home Mom is to present their business in a professional manner to potential clients or customers. On a daily basis, WAHM’s strive to present a positive image of themselves and their business.
How can a work-at-home Mom promote this positive image? A great way to accomplish this goal is through podcasting. It has been said that the greatest advertising for any business is positive word-of-mouth. The best way to accomplish this goal is with podcasting because it gives you a voice.
Podcasting allows WAHM’s to share their expertise, knowledge and even personality with potential clients. If you decide to podcast, you will be promoting your business in the best way possible.
When a possible client or customer listens to your podcast, they will hear your voice. As a result, they will develop a bond and trust in you over time. Subsequently, this will build more customers for your business.
When you are doing your podcast, don’t be afraid to share too much knowledge. If you hold back information, this could potentially hurt you and the image that people will have of your business. Your potential customers or clients will judge you based on the information that you share in your podcast. Thus, the most important element is to share valuable information.
An important element to keep in mind is that your podcast should not be an entire commercial for your business. If you do this, people will be turned off and they will turn off your podcast. You should strive to share helpful information with your audience. As a result, they will appreciate your sincerity and integrity. It is perfectly acceptable to share all of your business and contact information with your audience at the end of your podcast.
As a work-at-home Mom who is podcasting, you will build positive name recognition within your particular niche. The audience will look to you as an expert within your particular field. Consequently, this is the greatest promotion for any business.
The ultimate goal is to stand out above your competition. Is your competition podcasting? They are probably not podcasting and don’t realize the tremendous positive impact that this could have on their business.
When you record your podcast, it is imperative that you don’t have any background noises (children, pets, television, radio, etc.) This could potentially distract your listeners and they might turn your show off. Your goal is to present the best possible image that you can to potential clients. As a WAHM, professionalism is critical to your success. Podcasting can be the greatest element for your business if it is done in the appropriate manner.
If you take the necessary steps to produce a professional podcast with valuable information, you will see an increase in clients and customers over time.

He shares his expertise and knowledge so that anyone can produce a professional podcast that will equal of the quality of shows you hear on your favorite radio station. Teen Entrepeneurs
Teens can start their own businesses! It seems like younger and younger people are getting rich.
Here are a few ideas for some businesses that a teen can start:
Start an online business. They could start their own blog and make money from affiliate programs.
A Cleaning business for homes or offices.
A organizing service. Organize closets, attics, garages, or basements.
Car detailing. They could do this on a weekly or monthly basis.
Pet Sitting. This would most likely be only in the summer, because most people travel in the summer.
Tutoring.
Baby-Sitting business.
Getting the teen business started is pretty much the same as for adults.
You have to come up with a cool, but memorable and easy name for their business.
Make sure your parents approve of what you will be doing.
Do not be afraid to ask for help or advice when you encounter a problem.
Ask around , do market research, to see if your product or service is really needed in your area and if it will do good.
Create flyers and business cards.
Create a buzz about your business by word-of-mouth.

Top 10 Blog Writing Tips
Most of the "rules" about writing for ezines and newsletters apply to writing posts for your blog, but there are some important differences. Keep these 10 tips in mind and you'll be publishing great blog content that attracts prospects and clients in your niche market.
1. Write with the reader in mind. Remember WIIFM? It’s marketing jargon for What’s In It For Me? That’s what you should be keeping in mind. Your reader will read your post looking for what’s in it for them.
2. Make it valuable and worthwhile. Don’t waste people’s time. If you don’t have anything to say, no problem, plenty other people do. So share their articles, do an interview, review a book.
3. Proof-read for typos and glaring grammatical errors. You wouldn’t go out of the house with dirty hair or missing a sock, so why would you publish spelling mistakes? Respect your readers by polishing up your stuff.
4. Keep it short and simple, sweetie. (KISS). Most people are scanners. You may have a lot to say and think it interesting, and it may be. But people are reading online and out of time. Get to the point quickly. Publishing short posts more frequently is a better format than publishing lengthy articles every few weeks.
5. Keep it lively, make it snappy and snazzy. Even if you aren’t a natural born writer, you can write for your blog. Just write like you’re speaking to your friend…or to yourself! Remember though, get to the point quickly. Keep in mind the journalist’s rule of 5 W’s in the first paragraph: who, what, why, when and where.
6. Link often. This builds credibility and positions you as an expert in your field. People don’t have time to know what others are doing, you should tell them. Linking to other blogs and websites also helps you build a network of associates who will in turn link to your blog.
7. Use keywords often. This will help you stay on purpose, and the search engines will love your blog. Your rankings will go up. This is one of the reasons we have you write out your purpose statements before beginning your blog. The clearer you are about your purpose, the more consistently you will deliver messages that are on target. And the more often your keywords show up, the better your search engine results.
8. Write clearly (short sentences, only one concept per sentence). No double speak or jargon; no more than one idea in one sentence- don’t make your readers have to think about your meaning. Spoon feed them. Use commas and dashes liberally.
9. Write like you talk. It’s okay to use common expressions from speech.
Examples:
Go figure.
Don’t even go there…
Now, I ask you…
Gotta love it…
(And, remember the age group of your readers…)
10. Use a clear headline, and don’t be afraid to make bold statements (but don’t mislead people either). Make it snazzy and use key words. Example: Ex-Techno-Weenie Masters HTML Code
BONUS: After you write a post and BEFORE you hit the save button
Use this checklist to ask yourself a few questions as you are reading through for typos and grammar:
__ Is the topic clear to someone who only reads the headline?
__Does the lead paragraph tell who and what the story is about and why the reader should care about it?
__ Is the angle you've used likely to seem newsworthy?
__Would someone who knows absolutely nothing about this topic understand this post?
__ Is the post free of jargon?
__ Is it written in journalistic style and does it make an effort to be objective?
__ Have you peppered the headline and the post with keywords and phrases that will be attractive to search engines?
__ Did you remember to ask your readers a question at the end, or something to stimulate readers to comment?
__ Did you remember to write with the reader in mind, always keeping in mind WIIFT? (What’s in It for Them?)

Earn Money Reviewing Products
Would you like to earn extra cash for reviewing products you normally use? Below are a few online companies that pay for reviews. The article also includes other ways to make money reviewing products or services.
ReviewStream pays $1.50 per review accepted. If the review does not meet their criteria, you can choose to earn the bulk rate or the regular rate divided by 5. They accept reviews on anything including airlines, electronics, hotels, and websites. Reviews accepted by ReviewStream may not be published elsewhere. You also earn money if readers vote for your review. The minimum payout is $50.
ReviewParty is review site where you can earn money from Amazon or Adsense (Google Ads). You earn commission if readers purchase the product you reviewed through Amazon. You also earn revenue if people click on the Adsense ads on the page of your reviews.
SoftwareJudge pays you to review the software found on their site. They pay up to $50 depending on how great the review is. The minimum amount you can earn per review is $1. The reviews must be original and don’t have to be positive. The best contributors receive free stuff. The minimum payout is $200.
AllReaders and AllWatchers pay up to $5 for book and movie reviews. They pay 5 cents if someone has already reviewed the book or movie, $1 - $2 if the review is somewhat detailed, and $5 if the review is really detailed. AllReaders.com currently doesn’t accept reviews of horror stories, short stories, children’s books, e-books, books without a central plot, or books under 200 pages in length. AllWatchers.com currently doesn’t accept reviews of horror movies, Indian films, remakes of the same name, or straight to TV movies. Reviewers can only earn a maximum of $1000 and the minimum payout is $50.
ExpoTV pays for video reviews (videopinions). You earn $0.01 each time your video is played. ExpoTV also runs promotions where you can earn even more money. With the current promotion, reviewers are paid $5 per review (up to 50). ExpoTV also accepts video reviews of recent movies and pays $5 per published review. For a limited time, ExpoTV is paying $10 when you refer a friend and one of their videopinions gets accepted and published. They pay once a month through Paypal.
Bzzagent gives members (agents) free products and services and pays them to share their opinions with family, friends, on their blog, on forums, etc. Agents don’t get paid but keep the products they reviewed. They also receive special offers and discounts for themselves and their friends.
AssociatedContent pays $3 – $20 for reviews and articles. Epinions.com is a site where reviewers are paid based on the amount of views they receive. If you own a blog that has been active for at least 3 months, you can earn extra cash by reviewing products and services within blog posts. Companies like payperpost.com, smorty.com, blogitive.com and blogsvertise.com pay you a fixed amount of money to discuss or mention advertiser products within your blog.

An Investment That Paid Off
An Investment That Paid Off
Karyn Martin was
cautious about launching her freelance career online, but she soon
got results:
"I
remember the days when I dreamed of being a freelancer," she says.
"The word seemed magical to me somehow. Romantic, almost. Now, after
having actually been a freelancer for a while, the scales have been
lifted from my eyes and I have seen the light. You pay for being able
to manipulate your time. You pay by working more, working harder, and
- hopefully - working smarter. But what you get in return is
priceless. Now I can call the shots about when I work, for whom I
work, and how much I make."
One day, Karyn decided she was no longer willing to commute in
smog-laden traffic to sit in a cubicle for eight hours, come home,
eat, sleep, wake up, and then do it all over again. Going through the
same routine, day after day, week after week , only to wake up one day
old and tired - wondering how life might have been if she'd had the
guts to go it alone.
So she decided to become a freelancer - but how would she find work? She
had spent endless hours surfing the 'net, signing up with one
freelance site after another. Yet there was an incredible amount of
competition. She never seemed to win any bids, and was adamant about
not lowering her hourly rate.
"Then I discovered Freelance Work Exchange," she says. "I had heard
"don't pay to work!" repeatedly, and I was too poor to risk getting
scammed, but I took a chance one day when I was flush and sent twenty
bucks to gain access to the Freelance Work Exchange Professional
Edition.
"Since then, I've edited a sales letter, a follow-up letter, an
11-page Web site, and a brochure. I'm 'on call' to do pinch-hit
proofreading for a medical newsletter editor in Florida while he's on
vacation, sick, etc. And I've landed a gig editing a new Canadian
magazine coming out this fall. All this from taking a $20 chance on
Freelance Work Exchange."
Of course, it helped to send prospects a few previous work samples
she'd had the presence of mind to scan and save on disk. Also, since
she has been 'in the business' for more than five years, she has a
fairly good résumé with some experience to back up the claims, along
with a strong list of references.
"For every one of you out there feeling a little discouraged, and
especially for those of you on the verge of throwing in the towel, I'm
here to tell you this. There may not be a Santa Claus, but there is a
place to find work without paying some ridiculous "transaction fee" or
never knowing whether or not the projects are 'fresh' - and even the
name is easy to remember - Freelance Work Exchange."
Be the next work-at-home success story. Click here to get instant access to hundreds of freelance jobs.

Become a Yard Sale Organizer!!
If you are looking for a business that you can start out of your home and you love yard sales, than this is the one for you. You can start this with very little money. What you are doing is helping busy people have a successful yard sale. You organize the yard sale by getting the stuff ready and priced. You promote the sale for them by placing ads and signs.
They get to clean out their attics, basements, and garages of unused items and you get paid for selling it for them. If you have ever watched the television shows Clean Sweep or Clean House than you already have an idea of what you will be doing. You will have to already have a little bit of knowledge of the value of items. You will need to be able to display the items and be able to manage the cash box.
Advertise your Yard Sale Organizing service in local papers. Post flyers at local supermarkets, community centers, and where ever else you can think of. Make contact with local home cleaning services and ask them to recommend you to their clients.
This business will cost very little to start . You will just have the out of pocket expense of placing ads in papers, having business cards made, and having any flyers printed. Any expenses, like the ad for the yard sale and buying pricing stickers, for the yard sale itself is billable to the client.
You will be charging the client an hourly rate plus a percentage of the sales. A typical job ,with all of the organizing and the sale itself should be about 8 to 10 hours. All out of pocket expenses will be billed to the client.
This is a great idea for a low cost home based business. Also if you are a stay at home mom ,this is a great one, because most yard sales are only on weekends, maybe on friday and saturday. So you will still have time with your family.

Choosing the Right Home Based Business Opportunity
Don't just go for the first business opportunity that you find on the internet. Take your time and have a look around. It's amazing the amount of people that buy into the first opportunity they come across only to regret it later when they have forked out a load of money for some worthless tat that anybody could produce.
There are many websites available that will give you a review of the business opportunities that you are interested in. Remember, it's best to use something that other people have tried and tested. I always say, "Don't leave anything to chance!"
If you have found a business opportunity that you like the look of, type the title of it in to Google along with the word "review" at the end, you will be surprised at the amount of review sites that are available for your chosen opportunity. Read them carefully before you make any decisions.
Another way to check if the business that you are interested in is a scam is to check out the Better Business Bureau. Their website will allow you to do a search and find out if the business opportunity is a scam. I would use this in conjunction with researching the reviews surrounding the opportunity.
Once you have read all about the businesses that you are interested in, make a list of questions that you have surrounding it. When you have a full list of questions, send them to the website/business owner. If they return valid answers to your questions, then it makes the business opportunity more viable. If they don't bother to return your email or their answers seem a little sketchy, then drop the idea immediately. It sounds as though this opportunity could be a scam.
Only when you feel confident should you part with your money! It could take a couple of weeks to find the right opportunity for you!
To recap, this is what you should do when looking at a business opportunity:-
Don't go for the first opportunity you see. Take a look around at others.
Read reviews about your chosen opportunity.
Take a look at the Better Business Bureau website and do a search on the business.
Send a list of questions to the business opportunity owner and see if you get any valid response.
Always go into a business opportunity feeling confident. If you don't then drop the idea.
And most importantly, TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't rush in!
Using these tips should help you navigate around the scams that are just waiting for your hard earned money. Remember that there are legitimate money making opportunities on the internet; it's just a matter of finding them!
